Helping Diabetes, Learning Chinese & Glyconutrients

Glyconutrients are a group of monosaccharides or simple sugars that promote cell to cell communication in the body. The group is composed of the following eight sugars: glucose, galactose, fucose, mannose, xylose, n-acetyl-glucosamine, n-acetyl-neuraminic acid, and n-acetyl-galactosamine. Breast Milk contains five of the glyconutrinents: glucose, galactose, fucose, n-acetyl-glucosamine and n-acetyl-neuraminic acid. It’s not hard to understand that if these glyconutrients are contained in mother’s milk why shouldn’t they benefit various health challenges!
